A few good questions.
Can I use Yipy on my own?
Yes. Create a Roll just for yourself and name it around a topic or place. You don't need to invite anyone. Take photos directly into that album to keep the collection together from the start.
Do my friends need to use Yipy already?
No. Create a Roll and share its invitation link through WhatsApp or your group chat. New users download Yipy, set up their account, then return to the invitation to join.
Who can see the photos?
Rolls are private to their members. What you can see, and when you can see it, depends on the Roll's mode and participation rules. Check those details when you join.
When do the photos appear?
In a Live Roll, members can see photos as they become ready. In a Sealed Roll, photos stay hidden until the Roll opens. The creator chooses the reveal and participation settings.
Does Yipy work on Android?
Yipy is currently available for iPhone. Everyone taking part needs the iPhone app.
Does Yipy organise my existing camera library?
No. Yipy isn't a camera-library cleaner. You take new photos directly into a personal or shared Roll, so they belong to the right album from the beginning.
